Awesome! Who would have guessed that swords in the Middle Ages actually spark when they hit together! This weekend, in celebration of Jackson, Doug, and Dad's birthdays (all October 3rd), we all went to Medieval Times to watch the tournament and eat half-chickens with our bare hands. It was awesome! Our Knight (Red and Yellow) did not win, but it was an incredible show with all kinds of lights and music, horses and pageantry that we totally loved.
It was also another week of Friday Night Lights Football, soccer for both Chris and I, and of course Children's Choir. Dad took us to breakfast on Sunday morning mostly to talk and hang out together. We went to Shoreline Village and got to eat at Shenanigans. It was cool to hang out by the boats in the morning and spend time with just guys. We are also getting closer to deciding what parts we will be in this year's Christmas Play. So far, Dylan, Elisa, Jackson, Chris and I are all set to go for the big show.
