Dad's birthday was this week...actually, on Tuesday night when he had to be a City Council meeting so we took his birthday money on a walk in Bixby Knolls and had breakfast at Bake-n-Broil. The family breakfast is a common theme for the Keislers because it is a time when we are not tired (like dinner each night) that we can explore all kinds of historical, present, and future discussions. Sometimes we talk about the news. Sometimes, we tell stories about our family history. Sometimes we talk about what we want to do when we grow-up. Whatever the discussion at family breakfast it is a special time for us as a family to spend time to connect.
