Opening Day (531)

Baseball is back!  This weekend was Opening Day @ East Long Beach Pony Baseball. This year, I am playing in my last year of Mustang (U10) on the Orioles with a bunch of my old teammates from last year.  On Saturday morning, we all collected at the ELB fields at Woodruff and Carson--the place where so many good memories were made--with about 750 other players from 4 to 12 years old.

Baseball is still my favorite sport and in our first game late on a Tuesday night (after 6 months without throwing a pitch in a game), I faced 6 batters and struck out 5 for a no-hit, two inning start to the season.
