Salsa Dancers & Acolytes (week 532)

On Friday night, the Patrick Henry Family headed across town to Cabrillo High School for the big Ballet Folklorico performance.  After months of practice, the K-8 grades delivered two major performances before two sellout crowds.  There was no parking anywhere to be found and long lines outside the high school auditorium; but, it was worth the wait and Christopher shook it out like it was their business.  We got home late, so the next morning everyone slept in (until my baseball game @ 1015 am).

At Bay Shore Church this Sunday, I did my service for the first time as acolyte for the Lenten Season.  My job was to light 6 candles for each of the weeks of Lent.  It was a lot of pressure and I really felt it--reporting to Mom that my armpits were sweaty!
