Christopher has a unique ability (or maybe some would call it a condition), that allows him to fall asleep at the dinner table on nights when he played really hard. He has done it since he was really small--falling asleep in his high chair, falling asleep in his car seat, falling asleep on his TV tray--while he is still chewing his hamburger, or still holding his taco in his hand. We used to think it was that his eyelashes were too heavy. They are still very big. But it seems that chewing puts him to sleep even when everyone else at the table is talking it up and making lots of noise.
Christopher is now 4 years and 4 months old. He is still attending pre-school three days a week but staying home and helping Mommy on the other two days. He attends Nature Center classes, paints, and helps Mommy go to the grocery store. I'm not so sure how much help he provides, but he is definitely still a mother-lover and regularly expresses how much he misses Mommy even if he has been with her all day long.

Chris is still the more affectionate and emotional member of the Keisler Family. He loves snuggling and kisses, and will often just walk up to Mommy or Daddy and give them a hug or a kiss. He is also very generous and loves to cut out little hearts and other designs from construction paper to give as gifts. While not the focused athlete that I have always been, Chris is really very quick on his feet, and good at most sports that he tries...he's just more interested in the people than he is the game. On the other hand, he is very creative and artistic; he loves his shows like Sheriff Callie and Frozen; loves his treats and his snacks (does not particularly like to get his hair cut anymore but will do it for an ice cream dipped in chocolate with sprinkles; and is not afraid to sing or dance in front of those he trusts. Christopher is a good little brother at 4 years old, and although he can make a scene and get on everyone's nerves from time to time we wouldn't trade him for any other little brother on the planet.
This weekend, we lost a heartbreaker to the Brewers (7-6) although I got two hits, scored two runs, and hit one all the way to the fence. Saturday morning was Picture Day and Pancake Breakfast for all the teams. After, we cleaned-up the yard, got our hair cut, went out for ice cream cones, and had Family Night--watching Grease for the first time. After church on Sunday, we got to see all of our old Long Beach friends at Schooner or Later--the Wodynskis, Modicas, Toney, Shaw and Ying; and finished the day with baseball practice and a shower at the Armstrongs (and Chris at the Hubers). By the end of dinner (after a lot of drama), Chris fell asleep while chewing his pork chop.
