Long Beach @ 2 (week 128)

So, someone lost the camera at the Keisler household but no-one seems to be able to remember where or when we had it last. It is unfortunate because we have been extremely busy and I have been extremely cute all week. In fact, mama and dada were both working all week which meant that I spent the week at daycare...which of course also meant that I spent the weekend sick, coughing and running with my nose running all over the place. It doesn't look good for Monday morning, because I can't really go to daycare so someone is going to have to stay home with me for another day.

On Thursday, uncle Dave came over to play baseball and hoopies with me. Dada had a basketball game and mama had a reception with Junior League so Dave and I got pizza and watched Sports Center. He is a pretty cool guy because he like the same stuff I do. I crammed-down three pieces of pepperoni pizza and did a lot of talking on Dave's phone (which is much cooler than any phone in our house).

This week, we also went to the band concert with everyone from the neighborhood. I was ready for the kid who hit me with the stick-in-the-head last week. He was mainly playing by the soccer goal and digging in the dirt (stickless), but you can never be too safe at the band concert because there are so many kids running-around without their parents and they go nuts when it gets dark. I like the band concerts because I get to hang-out with the big Bower boys.

But Saturday was the big day because we had Angel's tickets. Mama, dada and I went to the Big A to see the Angels play the Texas Rangers for game-two of an important three-game series for first place. Of course, the Angels won the game because I was ready to go-in if they needed me. They didn't. But I did cheer louder, and clap more than anyone around me. The trees, and the rock and the fireworks were awesome. After my nap, I got to go to the big Tevis block party. Pat's band played a lot of old songs and there was a great deal of very bad dancing.
Word of the Week Fin-the-Fin-the-Fin: describes the activity of a pitcher throwing a pitch to a batter and the action of a baseball game when the ball is in play.
