Long Beach @ 2 (week 124)

My second trip to Summerdale in (2) years is complete! My dada says that Keislers have been going to Yosemite and staying at Summerdale for (26) years in a row. Now, I have gone twice in my first two years of life. The best part of this trip was probably catching my first fish. But it was also awesome to throw rocks into the creek, float on the raft for the first time and hang-out with Bene, Aiden and Jackson.

Sleeping in the tent was not such a great thing. First, I had a cold and couldn't breath very well. Second, it was cold and my pack-n-play was too small for me. Third, I wouldn't get into my mini-sleeping bag which made for long nights of angry parents. I did get to sleep in dada's sleeping bag in each of the first two nights but we ended-up leaving for the cabin in Fish Camp on the third night (sometime in the dark) to try and catch-up before mama and dada got sick too.

During the days, we had a great time visiting the big trees in Mariposa Grove...seeing Bambi (a real live deer), and going to Yosemite Valley. We did a lot of swimming and mama says that I look like a greek god (no tan lines). Probably one of the best days for everyone was going to Bass Lake which was super warm like the bathtub and hanging out at the beach. All-in-all, I had a great time playing with my buddies and getting as dirty as possible.
Word of the Week Go Home. Bomb Beach: the constant daily request of a (2) year old before any activity. Usually the request for going home goes away once the fun starts.
