Fourth of July is definitely my favorite holiday right now. There are flags everywhere, parades and fireworks in Kips backyard (not so hot on the fireworks yet). This past weekend, we got our bikes and strollers dressed-up with red-white-and-blue decorations to join the neighborhood parade. There must have been at least 300 people there marching around the neighborhood. There were even people throwing tortillas at us when we passed their house. The best part, however, was at the end when we all got to eat as many cookies and cakes as we wanted.
This coming week, we are getting ready to go to the mountains and a bunch of our neighbors are going with us. More to come (although I will be offline for a few days). But, dada and mama don't have any work and are going to spend every day with me for at least ten days.Word of the Week Baseball Stadium: everything diamond-shaped that might resemble the infield of Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Typically you stand on the diamond shaped image and swing a bat (imaginary or otherwise).
