The Rockets somewhat disappointing and uneventful basketball season finally came to an end this week with a 6-46 shooting effort and a loss to the equally terrible Clippers. After finishing the season with three great games, we limped into the playoffs, laid an egg, and wrapped-up another basketball season with a first round loss.
With baseball season starting, my spirits weren't too crushed but Christopher was certainly happy to see it all end. Dad and he generally got a few good games of Sequence in while we played our games, and sometimes even dropped a game of Pokemon or two; but, generally everyone was happy to see it end!
In other news, it has been raining like crazy in California and snowing in the mountains. After so many years of drought, it has been a non-stop downpour for the past few weeks and looks like the drought may finally be coming to an end. Unfortunately for dad, it has also resulted in the decomposed granite to almost completely wash away from our front yard. You win some and you lose some!
