Mom and dad celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this past week with a 5-day trip to the Central Coast. It wasn't the Italian vacation they had originally dreamed, but since we are going to add rooms to the house it was a good compromise. They spent 4 nights in different parts of San Luis Obispo County from the countryside in Paso Robles to the coast of Cambria visiting wineries, Hearst Castle, Big Sur, and Sycamore Mineral Springs. When they got back they were well rested and said that they had a great time spending time together. Congratulations on 10 great years of marriage!
Meantime, Chris and I spent our nights with Eli and Sophie for another year of Cousin Camp. This year, it was just the four cousins and we had an awesome time with Grandpa Mike and Grandma Paula doing all kinds of adventures. We went canoeing (lots of crashes in Christopher's canoe), hiking in the dunes, tent camping in the field, and all kinds of bike riding around the property. We were sad to see it end because we had such a great time together. As we get older our relationships seem to get better and better.
