On Saturday night, we had a special "Boys Night Out" so that mommy could clean the house and make the food for the big Labor Day Party. She also has school starting on Tuesday, so she needed quite time to do some lesson planning. Daddy wouldn't tell us where we were going or what we were doing all day. Instead, we had to help him in the yard to mow the lawn and clean-up the outside of the house in preparation for the big party. Once we got showered and ready to go, he told us the surprise. We went to In N Out to get hamburgers and then went to the StubHub Center to see the Galaxy play against the San Jose Earthquakes. The game was amazing with loud music, fireworks, and the Galaxy scored three goals. It was Robbie Keane Bobblehead night and he ended with two goals and an assist! Christopher watched the Color Crew on Netflix the entire time, but I loved the soccer fans in the endline and Riot Squad sections that danced, beat drums, three toilet paper, and lit smoke bombs the entire game.
On Sunday, we had about 40 people at our house for the big Married with Children Fantasy Football Draft, bouncehouse, pulled pork sandwiches, and the Labor Day celebration. It was a wild night that included at least one kid throwing-up after eating too many cookies and jumping too much in the bounchouse, many spills, lots of music, and tons of fun. We are all sufficiently exhausted from the Summer and ready to go to First Grade!
