The highlight of this week was the arrival of Baby Steven, Grandma Dubby, and Aunti Lindsey from Long Island, NY. Actually, Baby Steven is not so much a baby anymore and quickly becoming a toddler. He is a very busy body who loves himself some trucks. In fact, his only words right now are "Yeah" and "Truck". For the most part, he is great to have around because he agrees with everything that you say "Yeah"! And, he loves to race around the backyard in the big yellow Tonka dump truck. We built ramps and pushed him up and down the side of the house for hours. We had an awesome time.
Daddy was gone for the weekend because he had a trip to Palm Springs. I am not sure about what is out there in Palm Springs, but he was sure excited to go. The reason it was good that he was gone was because there were germs flying around our 900 square foot house. With three women and three little boys crammed into the same house, everyone got a touch of stomach problems.
When daddy got back, we all got haircuts on the back patio. Baby Steven had the most curly hair but he sat through the entire ordeal. The incentive of course was part of a lollypop that we got at Powell's on my birthday. We all got to split it making the haircuts just an inconvenience but well worth the trouble. We had a great time with our Long Island family and can't wait to go to their house soon.
