Big Brother Ben (week 172)

Dada has been having a very difficult time keeping-up with the weekly blogs. Usually, his time for writing is Saturday and Sunday mornings, but since we have been getting-up earlier and earlier like the kids across the street (usually around 5:40 AM and 6:30 AM), there is little quiet time in the Keisler household to do anything but hit the ground running. Dada used to get up much earlier around 5:00 AM, but says that it is increasingly hard to do that when the household is waking-up on average of (6) times a night to feed bottles, put people back to sleep, tuck people-in. As an example of how difficult it is to write for (20) minutes a week...this morning's blog was interrupted by a dirty diaper (up the back), putting-on someone's sandals, making peanut butter toast, re-heating the coffee, and taking away multiple butter knives.

World Cup has begun, which means that we have been watching a lot more soccer. We have also been watching the Lakers try to win their second NBA championship in a row, this time against the Celtics. In other sports news, the Angels have been surging...and have gone from the worst team in the division to the best only after losing their best hitter to a broken-leg during a celebration of a walk-off grand slam. Mostly, we spend our time in the backyard setting-up the water slide and barbecuing.

Project Little Brother (week 27)
Christopher has been going to daycare at Eric's to good reports. She says that he never fusses and is the happiest baby she has ever had at daycare. I am glad to hear this since I have been coaching him on how to get-along at Erica's house. The key is to keep smiling and to take as many naps as you can. The day goes by very quickly.

Word of the Week
Dada, Dada, Dada, Dada, Dada: the name for your male parent. For some reason, three-year-olds must say it a minimum of (5) times before making their point.
