Long Beach @ 2 (week 130)

We just got back from a week in Long Island with Grandma Dubby and Grandpa Andy. This time, it was hot and humid so dada and I spent a lot of time in the backyard pool to work-off the pizza from Triple P (Primo) that dada likes so much. This was a big week because Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Steve finally tied the knot at a special beach where Uncle Steve worked in the summer time. I am a big fan of weddings because of all the dancing and all the adults will give you as much soda as you can drink with bubbles.

On the flipside, dancing all night, and drinking too much juice or sodas can also lead to big blow-outs. In my case, everything just seemed to explode around 2-hours into the dance party and I ended-up having to wear Olivia's pink striped tights because dada didn't bring an extra change of pants for me. He brought the diapers but who would have guessed that we would need an entirely new change of clothing.

I was the flower boy at the beach-side wedding. It was hot, but I kept focused and walked with Uncle Steve to the big ceremony where I dumped-out my flowers on the sand. All-in-all, it was a pretty easy gig. Speaking of beaches, we also spent time on Dubby's boat. Actually, I threw a huge tantrum because I was still hooked-on juice boxes and ended-up taking a long nap in the cabin-rocking with the waves. When I woke-up we were back on land.

The flight home was not a piece of cake, but we made it with about a 1.5 hour nap and a 4 hours of reading books, playing legos and coloring. Mama and dada said that this would be our last trip for a long time on the airplane because (a) now we have to pay for my seat on the plane, and (b) baby brother is only a couple of months away and won't be able to fly for quite some time. It looks like my next few visits with Dubby and crew will be on the west coast.

Word of the Week
Sure Sure: pronounced shoe-ah, shoe-ah; a filler phrase that can be used to communicate just about anything (i.e. "I agree with you", "I do not agree with you", or "Yes I will be there to pick-you-up from the 8:00 PM Long Island Railroad").
