A New Godson (week 331)

I am not exactly sure how it works, but I got a new God-brother when Jack Sherlund was baptized on Saturday, April 20th in Lauden County Virginia.  We had a lot to do in Long Beach over the same weekend, so we didn't go on the plane with Daddy to visit my Godparents--Zak and Kate Sherlund--but we heard that Jack was pretty excited to have everyone in town and to get baptized at his church. Daddy sent us pictures of visiting Washington D.C., sitting on a tractor at a farm, and of the Sherulund bulldog Porter eating hamburgers that were left unattended while waiting for the grill.  Congratulations Jack and welcome to the God-family!

We had an equally busy weekend in Long Beach with two birthday parties, a baseball game and All Star practice, a St. Luke's Preschool Carnival, and watching Return of the Jedi for the first time.  Mommy was exhausted when the weekend was over and glad that Daddy came back from his trip.  I was excited to see Daddy as well, although Christopher--still in his terrible threes--told Daddy that he didn't want him and that he wanted Mommy instead.  It is a common theme these days that Christopher only wants to spend more time with Mommy and no one else will do.
